I am 6' 1/2" and carry an inordinate amount of my height in my legs. I have no problem fitting in my Guillemot Coastal. (My feet are size 10 1/2). A snug feet at the knees is good for bracing and rolling, but you can adjust the snugness by moving your footbraces (or bulkhead).

On the other hand, the cockpit hole is too small to get in with bended knees. you have to slide your butt in from the aferdeck with your legs straight. I think this is considered normal.
