I don't know the source of your clouding problem. To fill the weave: you may need to sand a little between coats. On vertical surfaces the epoxy will have the tendancy to telegraph the weave pattern even through a fairly thick coat. If you sand of the epoxy while minimizing sanding into the glass, you should be able to make the weave disappear. After 72 hours you should probably sand the epoxy. If the surface feels waxy or slightly sticky, you may have amine blush and should wash the epoxy with soap and water before sanding.
