I built a 6 hour canoe. It is a good little boat for quiet lake fishing but IMO that is about all. It does not track well at all, I had to add a skeg. It's initial stability is low due I think to the flat bottom, but the freeboard is sufficient to handle 2' chop. I ended up giving it to my dad fo rchristmas two years ago. All said, I am considering building another. It is perfect for quiet lake fishing.
