Has anyone here put a commercially built rudder on a guillemot? If so, what kind? Newfound Woodworks sells one, but they tell me I'll need to trim the point off of the stern. Anyone done this or found another model that fits without having to chop off the end?

What type of rudder "mounting bracket" is best for the guillemot? I found a pedal system (made by seaward kayak) that I like, but I don't think their rudder mount would take any punishment on the guillemot.
