I am on my third stripper and never gave filling the staples holes a second thought. Have had so many people admire the boats, and don't ever recall one person noticing the holes. You really have to look closely to see them.

Actually, when people really take notice of the boat, and want to know how it is built, i then point out the holes in describing the construction technique - and even then people have to look closely to see them.

I do recall reading in nick's book a technique for clamping the strips in place while the glue dries, thus completely eliminating the need for staples.
