> Woody I installed a rudder in my Guillemot. I used a Perception attached to a fin like extension from the stern I made from laminated 3 mm marine ply .It was overkill,so my current project (another lighter Guillemot )is to have the same arrangement with a fin of 3 layers of cedar strips.I glued and glassed the fin on,and it works very well in all conditions.BTW,the fin does not exend below the waterline.
