> Scott Wilhite Paso Robles Angle makes little difference in cedar as we use the plane;sharpness does.If you dont know how to sharpen an edged tool,there are books and videos.It is a skill well worth knowing,at least for safety,as a truly sharp tool cuts predictably and well.There is a book on sharpening with waterstones,and it has changed my way of putting an edge on.Look for it,and the water stones will cost 45 to 100 dollars.India and Arkansas stones work well also.Edges from the factory are not suited for cutting,so you'll have to edge before using .Same for chisels etc
