Ross, my comment wasn't meant to hurt, it was my perspective on who to ask for a well thought out, non-emotional, balanced answer to a technical question on kayak design or construction.

I am relatively new to the board - I've been an avid reader, and occasional poster over a period of two or three years. During that period of time I have built three strippers.
