OK a builder in an earlier thread commented on not enough postings for Pygmy boats. So here is my first one of two.
I am building two Pygmy boats. The first is an Osprey standard. The second is a Coho. I have just complete gluing the desk seams on the Osprey. It looks great. I like the angles and upsweep of the glue seams at the bow. (Can’t wait to get about 5 coats of varnish on it!)
For the Coho would like to investigate building it without wire holes in the deck. Does anyone have any experience in doing this?
Note, please do not turn this thread into a faceted verses bent wood religious war. Each technique has its esthetic appeal subject to personal preference. I choose the Osprey and the Coho because of the deck design (as well as other things). I am simply looking for some alternative building techniques.
