I'm building another Stitch and Glue out of Okoume plywood and have been thinking about staining the wood prior to glassing. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you do it,what stain did you use and how many coats? Anyone have any advice as to what is a good stain to use? Will staining affect the glassing? Will it retain its color?
