Whoa!! That's a lot more cost!!!!!! I'm not so sure it would cost that much.

Figure that you subtract a $45 US piece of plywood. You will be adding probably $40 for the clear cedar.

Raka has 6 oz. x 60" satin glass for $5.25/yd = $31.50+ $5(UPS Shipping) (6 oz. x 60 you can cut in half for (2) 30"w pieces.)

You will use an additional quart of resin. = $15 (High $ estimate) (using the George Roberts Rule of Thumb - Weight of glass==weight of epoxy) Use about 2/3 the area of that 6 oz. cloth (lose corners) 6 yd*(60/36)=10 yd^2 (10 yd^2)*(2/3)=6.666 yd^2 (6.66yd^2)*(6 oz/yd^2)=40 oz. I'm sure you easily use 8 oz. or more epoxy just saturating both faces of the deck, so there's more than enough epoxy already on the boat for filling the weave.

Anyone should be able to scrounge materials for additional deckbeams or temporary forms. If not, figure $20 bucks.
