Everything is included. I haven't figured out what all the parts are for yet, or how to attach everything. I'm going to visit a couple of kayak shops this week and make note how everything is attached.

I spent the weekend attaching a round dowel to the stern of the Guillemot to drop the rudder pin in. It seems pretty strong even though the fiberglass and epoxy is not fully set up.

The control cable tubing is plastic, and seems a little too big for the stainless steel cable. I may see if I can find some small copper tubing.

The foot pegs look a lot like yakima foot braces except the foot rest portion has been replaced with a larger foot rest plate that piviots. This is attached to an adjustable strap with the adjustment within easy reach. This strap is attached to the stainless control cable that runs through the tubing in the rear bulkhead and through the skin of the kayak.

The foot rest also has a bungie strap on it that acts like a spring with tension applied which keeps tension on the cables and straps even with your feet off the pegs. I noticed where the bungie goes through a piece of aluminum that the edges were sharp so I will pull out the bungie and knock the sharp edge off with a file before installing.

I had hoped to varnish this weekend but it looks like I'll need to wait for the epoxy to cure now for a few weeks before applying varnish.
