There is a person running a Tred Avon with the SailRig ( sorry I don't recall his name ) you can try reaching him on the Kayak Sailing Mailing List http://www.shipwrecked.com/kayak-sail/ which you should probably join anyways.
The picture shows the stringers I added to SWIFTWOOD, but I got the sail area cranked way up on it though. For a Tred Avon ( double ) running the standard ( 12ft or 8ft? ) SailRig and a single sail the most I would do is reenforce the holes in the hull where the crossbeams attach. With the 12ft floats you only have 4ft between the beams. If that's enough to get it in front of the front hatch, go for it. Otherwise you'll be crawling in besides you footpedals to due the bolts! You would also gain clearance for the front paddler.
Go ahead and drop CLC a line
BTW CLC has brand new Kayak Sailing WebPages! http://www.clcboats.com/news.html#articles
I sometimes think I should have built a double myself to share the fun. :) Good Luck
