I don't mind people asking where to buy, and I don't mind people recommending places they have bought stuff. I just ask that the people selling stuff take it offline.

Some things may be right on the line, for example if company X sells product A from company Y, I don't mind someone from company X coming on and saying why they like A, but I would mind company Y coming on and talking about why you should buy their product.

I don't feel inclined to create a BBS for other companies to advertise on my site. I think I am helping them enough by letting them include a link.
