Paul,

Not to say they don't exist, but I am not familiar with electrical zip ties that allow the user to loosen them to make adjustments. The only ones I have seen - the ones holding the cables on this computer - can be tightened one time only. Once tightened too far, you make adjustments by cutting it off and using a new one - unless there's a special loosening tool I don't know about.

When building my boat - a CLC Cape Charles 18 - I had to loosen and retighten wires several times while squaring the hull. This would have been very difficult with the type of zip ties described above.
