Okay, thoughts you want, thoughts you get! Forgive me, as most of these will be on the negative side, but I figure you've probably already had most of the positive thoughts. No discouragement meant here, just some things to think about, kinda...tounge in cheek.

1.Are you young enough to take on a 5 year project, that will take at least 12 years to complete?

2. Are you independently wealthy? The land might be cheap, but...

3.How big is the lake, and how far from potentially, high developement areas is it? Urbanism has both pros and cons. High population could mean more custumers, where seclusion might bring less people, but maybe more REPEAT custumers.

4.Keep in mind...that you will be dealing with the PUBLIC. (not always fun) You will meet ALL KINDS of people, angels as well as devils. (know what I mean?)

5.Think about stuff like: Insurance, Safety Codes, Health codes if you include a snack bar...yada yada yada.

6. Here's a halfway positive thought. If your going to buy undeveloped land, why not get enough to include a campground...eventually.

And again, please don't misunderstand me. I think it is a GREAT idea, but also a big decision. Hell, if you decide to do it, probably half of us would be thrilled to come and work for you. I think I could get into it anyway! I almost wish I had the where-with-all to do something like that myself. I'm ready to get back to nature!

Anyway, you asked for it, you got it! A few points to ponder.
