I built my boat last year in a cold garage. I couldn't use any slow-cure/no-blush epoxy until about April. Even using the fast cure hardener took awhile. For your scarfs, you can coat the joints, clamp the pieces together, and then cover them with some kitchen plastic wrap. Then just lay a heating pad under or on the joint and they will set up in an hour or so. In cold weather you have to be creative about heat sources to make your epoxy cure. Another trick I got from the guy at Raka is to make a tent with a tarp or garbage bag and heat the area with a 100 or 150-watt bulb. (The smaller the space to heat, the warmer it will get.

When I was glassing the outside, I put 2 or 3 bulbs up inside boat to heat the hull.
