Well the boat has been in the water now for the past 3 weeks, Great performer in all conditions. Last weekend I did 15 miles (7.5 miles each way) in 15-20 knot head winds and 6-8 foot seas, The boat handled it great.Coming back was a blast surfing most of the way, Buried the bow frequently but no problems. I feel that the boat will need a skeg only for flat water, strong wind conditions. It really wants to weathercock and is a pain to correct all of the time. The Koa wood used in the construction of the decks is a real eye catcher so one has to launch at night, or quickly run down the beach hiding the decks with old towels ect. to get away from all of the crowds and newspaper photographers (fantasizing) More photos can be viewed on our website:
