In this same vein, does the outside diameter of the bullnose cutter make a lot of difference in performance, quality of the cut? I bought the bullnose cutter and the slot cutter separately and the bullnose cutter is only about 1/2 or 5/8 of an inch in diameter, the slot cutter about an inch and a quarter. Later I see different router bit suppliers with "canoe" sets in which both cutters are about an inch and a quarter or so in outside diameter. The bullnose cutter seems to work ok, maybe chips out a little but that could be my wood. Just wondering. Ray
