Hello, I would add at least a rear hatch and bulkhead, That is what I did for the guillemot I just built. First it is nice to have easy access to some dry storage , you could do the same with just a dry bag stuffed behind you but a rear bulkhead just behind you will enable the kayak to empty most of it's water when you lift the bow during an assisted rescue.
