If you ever take an advanced course with the BCU (British Canoe Union) they make you rescue and drain a boat with no bulkheads. Why? Because it's a nightmare. Even with flotation bags the boat weighs a ton and you usualy can't lift it up from the ends but have to drag across your cockpit upside down to drain them. Do yourself a big favor and put bulkheads in. If you don't do it now, you'll want to do it after the first time you go in and have to pump it out.

I get many requests from people to put a front hatch and bulkhead in piccolo's and that other small Wilderness system's fiberglass boat they sell with no front hatch and bulkhead. Chicka?
