I built a Yare last year out of door skins. I didn't sheath it with fiberglass so I guess it's probably a bit fragile but it's fast and light. I built this as an experiment to see if I could build a good, inexpensive boat. I'm pleased with it and get lots of questions from people when I'm out in it. Sure is tippy thogh so get ready to brace.
