I finished lofting the patterns for a 17' Guillemot from "The Strip Built kayak" and can not find any length dimension for the strongback. My best calculations put it at 14'-11.5" but then the total form length is 16'-9 3/8". Is this the correct length for the forms to create a finished kayak of 17' or am I getting mixed up somewhere?
