Storing Kayak

Now that my first boat is finished I need to store it when not in the water, and while I'm building the second one the garage is tied up. The best place is from the ceiling in the basement (finished). I could hang it on hooks from each grab loop (easiest). My only concern is having it deform over a period of time. Any opinions or experiences ???
