I agree that it shouldn't be much of an issue. Try it and see. You can do tht in your front yard with a hose and a handful of mud.
If it is a problem, here's an idea for a fix. It would only be a problem for anyplace you might stand, so we're only dealing with a space about 2 ft in front of the seat. Sand it lightly first for adhesion. Tape off the edges with duct tape if you wish, for neatness. Mix up about 15 cc of epoxy, and brush it out as thin as you can - you probably won't need the whole 15 cc. Sprinkle fine silica sand in it, 70 mesh should be about right (this is the size that is retained by sieving a mix of sizes through a screen that has 70 wires per inch, both X- and Y-axis, so it's pretty fine). Masons' supply houses have it, but don't use regular mason's sand - particle size is too big, and there's a lot of clay in it. Sprinkle on more sand than it needs, watch it and if any patches get wet sprinkle on a little more sand there. Floor guys call this "brodcast to rejection". The silica is clean and has uniform particle size.
Anyway, let it cure overnight, and vacuum up all the sand that didn't stick. Then mix up another 15 cc and paint over the sanded part, overlapping at the edges onto the unsanded part by 1 in. or so. The sand winds up totally encapsulated, so there's no moisture problem. Most of the profile of the sand is filled with epoxy, so it's not hard to clean. The top edges edges of the sand particles give just enough "tooth" to provide nonskid. Total weight added is about 1 oz. or less.
