Give the guy a break -- just because you may have seen this discussion before doesn't mean that it may not be useful to anyone else. If this is that bothersome to you, you can go elsewhere...

I built a Pygmy Arctic Tern. Reading comments in this bulletin board swayed me towards Pygmy because a number of people were having trouble installing the decks on their Chesapeakes. But since then I have read a number of good tips on using cinch-straps that make this process much easier. If I had to do it all over again (and I probably will next winter) I'd build a Chesapeake. There was a good deal of extra labor involved with the stitching, 'glass-taping the underside, and glassing the entire outside of the deck of my Pygmy. Given that only the hull of the Chessies are 'glassed, I believe they are a good deal simpler to build.
