Right, I understand what you were saying. I was wondering about how they felt differently. I have felt that "twitchiness". It might have to do with the edges in front of the cockpit.

Surfboards have very round chines forward and aft the chines or "rails" get very hard and sharp.

Essentially, you are saying that they are hyper-sensitive in moving water, right?
