Reworking the mold would probably cost more than making a new one. You would have to grind out all those cracks then fill them in. You would then need to smooth and fair out the patches. When you are all done there is no guarrantee that the probablem won't reappear.
You can probably make a new mold by making a mold of the mold - just like pulling a boat but you use a heavier layup. Then clean up the surface of this plug. Then pull a mold off the plug. The risk in doing this is some accumulated error due to shrinkage of each mold.
