I bought Nick's book as soon as I could get may hands on it. I'm not too good with the computer thing. I found that, in loting out the offsets by hand, I was able to get a pretty good feel for the shape and look of the boats. I lofted both the Guillemot and the Great Auk, both for the experience of lofting (I'm a greenhorn at this boat stuff) and so that I could better compare the two....turned out to be very interesting and fun.
