Hi Joe,
I think I'm going to build the Great Auk. It will suit my needs well. I am not a kayaker, so the extra stability is appealing and I probably will want to fish and photograph a little. It's also a good excuse to build the guillemot later, as my skills progress. There is a picture of a Great Auk in an earlier posting on this board....it is a nice looking boat. Before I can start the Auk, I've got to get my wee lassie out the door (that's an order from the boss!). Good luck with your boats.
