when I built my CLC chesapeakes, I loaded the nearly finished boats on the car and drove around to various kayak shops in the area and tried on different sprayskirts. This way I was sure the skirts fit well, and I also got the added bonus of the first oohs and aahhs over the boats. I even got a request from one shop for consignment sales.
