I built my 24 foot mono outside (don't do this!). When I was doing the deck I had the whole thing wet-out with epoxy when a gental breeze came up. the breeze blew a skyfull of cottonwood seeds and their little fluffy white parachutes from the trees onto the sticky deck. The whole deck turned white with cottonwood seeds. They sanded out easily but I did name the boat "Cottonwood". Ron
