Thanks for the confirmation. I'm also anxious just to get to the glassing stage. Makes is seem like it's almost done.
I can't say that I've really stressed the hatches for leakage. I'll make sure I do that this spring sometime and post the results. However, with as much tension as there is on the bungees, I'm pretty certain any leakage there is would also be there if I had used external straps.
