I am nearing completion of my Pygmy Coho and while sanding the deck I revealed the weave in spots, ( a faint checkerboard pattern). My Wee Lassie building friend tells me that this will "telegraph" through the varnish. So, can I avoid recoating with epoxy (Sys three) and get good results with multiple coats of Zspar Captains? Thanks in advance, this BB has been a big help in building.
