I'm assuming that apology is tongue in cheek, Don, but for anyone not familiar with Navy-speak, "gouge" is the answer to the question on the test that you're going to have to take. Frequently accompanied by three loud thumps on the deck with the heel of the shoe. This is now a solvent-free thirty year Navy guy!
And the termites? Don't think that they'll get through that first layer of epoxy, but two are now fossilized in some Captain's varnish behind a deckframe. Guess they'll be my permanent mascots.
Sure I can't interest anybody in some free 202? I'm really okay!
