I think so, I received a photocopy of the article and was told it was from the AAB mag. The article also had plans for a sail (although more recent plans I found in the NSW Sea Kayaker newsletter are better), and map/drink holder that pulled out, over your legs, from under the front deck (not much use with a spray skirt on).
