I read Ross's post on making his own seat, then since I didn't have a seat to make a mold to copy gave up on the idea. Then I called Dagger, and found that I can buy the seat through one of their dealers for around $70. I know it isn't a custom formed seat, but if anyone else might ever paddle the kayak it might be the way to go. Folks at Dagger were very helpful.
