Here's another idea that I've seen tossed around here and it works very well. Tape the hull first. Without the two pieces joined, epoxy the tape in place on the hull side but be careful to only use about 1/2" of the tape. (As you have the hull right side up, epoxy only the lower 1/2' of the tape). This will hole it in place great. Let this set up for a few hours so that it will hold well. Do this on both sides of the hull and when dry, drop the deck on and finish wetting it out. The only hard part here is getting a brush in to wet out the very fore and aft sections of the tape. For this I used a brush on the end of a yard stick. It got a little sloppy but worked very well.
