I'm not really sure yet, but it will be a small one that can be trailered easily and set up quickly. I've been looking at the CLC Sharpie and have looked at a few others as well. The sharpie plans ant $59 si a good deal and I have built one of thier kayaks and like that method (max boat - min work). I really like the radius chine technique of Dudley Dix. I may just start from scratch and create my own boat. The reason I was curious about the 3/8" vs. 1/4" plywood was because dix uses 3/8" for his radius chine hull on his 26' sailboat (with no external fiberglass). This is for a relatively high displacement trailer sailboat. I won't be building anything bigger than that, so I definately won't need any plywood thicker than that. To answer your question, I'm still trying to decide which boat to build.
