I currently paddle a Chesapeake 16. I test paddled the CLC North Bay recently. It is quite fast and although I wasn't concentrating on turns, I think it turned well enough despite its long waterline. It is hard chined so should do edged turns and such quite nicely. I hope to build one come winter.
