Hate to bring this up again, but I've gone through the archives and can't find the thread that was going on just about when I waw steered to this remarkable BBS a few months ago. There was an interesting discussion on the reinforcement of grab loop holes --- the kind CLC uses, holes drilled through the endpours, fore and aft --- and there were thoughts on using copper tubing, plastic tubing, etc. Anybody know where to find that thread or what the consensus --- if there was one --- said about reinforcing those holes?
