Just a quick note of thanks to Nick and to this BBS for all the help --- answers to a few questions I asked and to lots of others I should have asked! --- while my CLC North Bay came together. It was launched and christened on Saturday at CLC's "Okumestock" weekend, held near Annapolis, in its unfinished, epoxy-clad state, and still looked good! Paddles like a dream --- accelerates, cruises, even turns pretty well with a good lean, although I'm spoiled by my Pintail.

Thanks to all the contributions and the ideas. It was worth every hour --- and now comes painting and varnishing. Sure to be back on the water by Haloween! Thanks, y'all.
