My wife is less than enthusiastic, too. I also do some scrollsaw work that she really likes. I have to remind her periodically that I let go of the big boat dream in return for the shop and the ability to build small ones. She's OK with it most of the time. It's why I want a double, she would enjoy birdwatching and quiet water paddling. We have rented a few times, so she knows what we are into. Where are all the women boatbuilders?
