Can he take it back to the person who made the canoe? If I sold a strip canoe or kayak to someone and it started delaminating, I'd want to fix it; otherwise, he'd tell people I do shoddy work and don't stand behind it.

If it's clear, it's probably epoxy. Otherwise, I've heard that epoxy will stick to polyester, but not the other way around (but I'm not absolutely positive on that).

How bady is it delaminating? A few small spots or the whole boat? For small spots, cut it out, and feather in a new piece of glass.
