Hi:

I have started to plain my Guillemot and am finding it has a ripple chip effect. What I am wondering is when I sand with the fairing sander , will that take care of the high spot. Also I would like ideas on a good gap filler. I milled my own strips and am finding due to poor fitting strips as I plain I am getting gaps between strips. Lepage has a wood filler that they say can be mixed with a latex stain to get a better color match. Any and all thoughts welcome. Thank you.
