One other consideration you might want to note. If you follow the older threads in this bulletin board you will see a lot of discussions about cracks forming decks of CLC boats. There is also a lot of discussion about how to avoid this. I have not built a CLC but I suspect that it is because builders compromising the thickness of the deck material in favor of bending the camber easily.
I am building a Pygmy Osprey and have a Coho waiting. The one comment I can make is the desks on these boats are very strong. Further you can add more strength of you wish by more aggressive use of fiber glass and epoxy, or deck plates to the underside of the deck. This is not as easy to do on a CLC cambered deck.
