IF temperatures are to low, epoxy will not cure well.
OK, temperatures will be to low in garage. So what? IS experience available about building chamber with higher temperature for curing? How is this done? What temperature? For how long? How heated? How built? What temperature will wood like/dislike?
All info is of interest.
The web page of Ray Jardin has some info, but this is post curing, and the hull do not have wood core. Quotation:
Ray: " We post cure the hull and deck in a make-shift autoclave of cardboard boxes. The apparatus will be covered in tarps, and pair of ceramic heaters wired to thermostats will hold the temperature at 140 degrees F for two hours. This allows the epoxy molecules to cross-link more thoroughly, insuring maximum strength and stiffness. "
Looking forward to learn,
