I built a chesapeake 18 and added four ounce glass to my deck easily. No edges, smooth curve, I wrapped it one inch over the hull to give added strength to the hull-deck connection. I also laminated extra deck beams and put them under the deck so I can add an outrigger for sailing at a later date. That was easy too because it was a smooth arc not a jointed angle to figure out.
