> thanks dave Hey Dave- last year I built a Coho and an Osprey. I used a Bosch fine tooth jigsaw blade, they are a high quality thin blade that is ground and sharpened, not stamped like cheaper blades. I did as Pygmy recommended and clamped the blade in a vise-grip, and very slowly cut my hatches out. It took an hour or two per hatch, I lost track of the time because I took frequent breaks. It takes alot of concentration and patience, but is well worth the effort. My hatches look and fit great. Good luck.
