I would be concerned about putting the tape on under the fiberglass -- will the epoxy stick to it well enough? I'd try a test sample first. It may be better to just build your boat completely, then just put a few pieces on afterwards. Often these strips have an acylic-based adhesive that sticks like crazy, so it shouldn't come off in normal use, yet it would still be removeable/replaceable later on if need be. Dean
